This game, and the Wargame series prior, took pride in its BASIS in reality (yes yes, some thing are changed for the sake of gameplay, and that is always a continuous debate), but one thing that I have never been able to stand in these games that generally do so well in creating an engaging and immersive strategy game, is the unit radio chatter.
I feel like they never even brought an actually military consultant on board (no, its not expensive, there are plenty of vets out there who would be more than willing to shed a LITTLE light on military communications)
Currently, most units just say cheesy things, which hurts immersion, or things that have no military relevance at all.
Lets take the tanks in wargame for example: When selected they say "lead me, follow me, or get out of my way". Not something ANYONE would ever say over a military net, ever
And I will admit having a LITTLE cheese in there is fine. It is a good quote, and it make sense for armor, sure. So that one, in of itself is fine.
But this, imo is the worst:
US Rocket battery: says something being about "Stalin's Organ" or something.

TLDR< please for your next game, give a bit more "military" in unit radio chatter

Also, some games do this, and I know its difficult creating voice lines for specific situations, but it would be cool to get a little more information from units (more for immersion than anything)
Eg- in Company of Heroes if a Sherman takes fire from a tiger sometimes the unit will say "Shit, we are engaged by a Tiger! We need support!" With a sense of panic in his voice, it gives you a sense of urgency.
My two cents.

To a certain extent Eugen have done that. Check the game credits.

Well, aren't military net almost entire full of curses ? would you want that in the game ?
"Bleep beep beep !" "Beep" "Beep beep !"
Actually no, it is completely against radio procedure to fill up the net with unnecessary traffic, to include swearing. Would someone, perhaps in a full blown panic do that? Maybe.
But typically no, you need to keep the channel as clear as possible for important information to flow freely. It is very looked down upon to be swearing over a net.
During my time in, I never heard anyone swear during official radio net use (as a joke on the side, messing with someone, sure)

The entire notion of strategy games where you command units in a zoomed out map with a mouse is unrealistic, so having some lines be movie references don't even move the needle for me in terms of realism.

Just because certain aspects are obviously unrealistic cause its a game, doesn't mean aspects within the game can be made realistic. WHy do you think "immersive sounds" is the most popular mod on the workshop?

I don't even care about immersion, but the unit chatter is just plain annoying, especially because the lines are so limited. It feels like there are only two distinct voice lines per faction and unit type. Having the occasional funny line or reference is fine, as long as it doesn't turn into "♬ It's a long way to Tipperary ♬ " every ten seconds...

I wouldn't buy a Eugen game without their classic voice acting, so this idea won't be approved by me.

The one-legged stand-up comedian...(true, he's missing his right foot, passes his prosthesis around the audience at his stage shows).

My accent is way flatter and broader than that, all words run together like one big long one.

If we are talking about constructive suggestions, then I would recommend more love into the singleplayer campaign. Something similar to Airland battle and Red dragon, with some improvement, especially to the AI.

I would love to see the combination of strategic and tactical aspects combined.

Actually listening to community on things that matter. You know, stuff that we are repeating from EE forward. Like making up your mind what exactly should MP look like and properly doing it. Also, don't innovate too much. Game mode in SD is great, however making decks limited in a way that are is just going overboard with new stuff. Basically you end up with two new things, one needs to be though out slightly more and other one is a complete gimmick.

TL;DR - look at what you have, cut out things that are mostly a marketing trick (and not an effective trick at that) and make the healthy part shine by polishing it properly.

I think there is the big step that needs to be taken and its to finally delete Lobbys and have SOLO,Quick play Matchmaker,Ranked-Matchmaker buttons in the menu, leaving the option to make private lobbys in the quickplay MM for the in house games, testing and stuff.

Hire profesionals, not some students or guys that will leave after 6 months of intern work, pay the pros 2-5 time the money, make a properly executed MM and it will all payback i am 120% sure.

For my tastes there are but a few things to change to make a great game a near perfect game:

1) Have infantry squad losses matter: I thing that it is easy, programming wise, when a man goes down to disable a random weapon from the squad's list - or make the 8xRifles a 7xRifles.

2) A couple more effects for vehicles and tanks. Weapon "destroyed", rather than "damaged" and have it refer to either the main gun or one of MGs on the armor. Irrevocable destruction of the weapon but only that. Why not see a Panther with a destroyed main gun that acts as a mobile MG nest?

3) Time: Either make the game a slower or the units slower. A tad. Or have the host in multi set the timer speed for his game.

4) Some more functions for multi team beacons. Eg one could be a player highlighting a front-line,

5) Better matchmaking tools in Multi. A simple thing would be that the level of each player should be visible - or at least it should be an option for each player to make it visible.
