Constantly Loading Screen Freeze

Hello!

I bought Stellaris today and everything goes well until i start a new Game.
Then i stuck in loading Screen forever (almost tried most things like reinstall, running the exe as an admin, waiting for 1 1/2 Hour) but nothing works for me.
The Music is still going on, but the loading bar doesnt move in any way and i have to strg+alt+del to close the non ending loading screen.
Thats really disappointing after playing pretty much all games like HoI2, Europa Universalis 4 and Victoria 2 its the first time i couldnt even play the game for 1 minute after purchasing the game. I hope that we receive quick help or in the case of not fixing this issue a possible refund.

Exit Steam completely and run Stellaris.exe by itself. Do you get any errors then?

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox/Stellaris/settings.txt and Documents/Paradox/Stellaris/logs/system.log files, thanks.

Yes i already tried the .exe without steam, tried both in admin mode, set the gamesettings to borderless or windowed nothing helped. I attached the dxdiag informations to this post as the Gathering_Data.txt, the Documents/Paradox/Stellaris/settings.txt directory is attached as settings.txt and the log files are the other files attached to this.

Unfortunately there are no clues in those files what the problem is.

I see you have EU4; does that run Ok on this machine?

What anti-virus app do you have? Make sure Stellaris.exe and the Steam Stellaris and Documents Stellaris folders are set in it;s trusted or whitelist.

Also if you have the MSI Gaming App installed, disable it as it clashes with this game.

No there are no Errors. As i said i can do everything in main menu, gamesettings, creating my own race. After i finished this i have to go into the game details screen to set things up like "Galaxy Size", "Galaxy Shape", "AI Empires", "Advanced AI Starts". When i click here the Play button to finally start the game there is now the loading Screen popping up with a Loading Bar where Starting new Game is written. And this Loading screen simply never ends nor is the loading bar moving in anyway. I let this open for more than 3 hours but simply nothing happens. And this was always the case so no i couldnt play the game at any time because whenever i wanna start a game i stuck in this loading screen.
I also play EU4 and i can play ith without any problems.

When you design a new race it writes it to a file in the documents/paradox/stellaris folder user_empire_designs.txt . Does that get created?

I Will Check this on monday. Unfortuntely i'm not able to check this because i'm traveling this weekend but will definitely give your further details then.

In The Direcotry Documents/Paradox Interactive/ Stellaris are 2 the folders shadercache, pdx_launcher, logs, dumps and 2 textfilse called "Settings" and "user_empire_designs" so yes it actually gets created but still i stuck in the loading screen forever. To point things a bit more out i made a screenshot of the screen where i stuck....

I have also runned DirectX Setup, DotNet setuo and vcredist setup.
Dot net got cancelled because i have a higher version on my computer and vcredist just send me an error message that it cant repair or install (but no reasons are mentioned)

What about if you select a random start, does that work or have the same problem?

Do you have access to any other computer to try the game on? Just to show that it really does work, usually!

Yes i do have the same problem when i do a random start.
I tried this game on a computer of my family member and there it works without problems, but that doesnt really help me at all.
The strange thing is, my computer is far better than the computer where it worked.
Is there no way to fix this issue? Maybe some sort of live help or so?

Ok i finally fixed this on my own after 7+ hours.
It was an issue with Visual C++ Redistibutable 2015 as i said in my post before there was some sort of error after patching MWindows 7 and making a clean reebot i was able to finally repair the redistributable which lead finally to a functioning loading screen.
So for future problems of other players i suggest Microsoft update + clean reeboot and a repairation of the Redistributable.
