Constantinople Pentarch fixed in 1.08

In the SI announcement thread it said it will be released with 1.08. Will 1.08 fix the bizarre Constantinople pentarch issue? As it stands the only way to have a kingdom with it as it's pentarch is to destroy ecumenical patriach title.

Er... can't you just claim the county, and then press a County Claim on the bishopric?

Not what I meant. Sorry. While the ecumenical patriachy exists any kingdom that has pentarch=b_hagiasophia will be autocephalous. To get them to follow constantinople you have to destroy the EP because auto-generated bishops will just give him back the title.

Vassal kingdoms of Greece and Anatolia will be autocephalous in the empire when they should follow constantinople.

This definitely works. I acquired the Ecumenical Patriarch for my Russian Empire this way.

But because you're an Empire. If you're just an Orthodox Kingdom you can't vassalize another King level title.

Thankfully, I'm Miaphysite, so I figure if I ever snag Constantinople it'll let me just throw some random Nubian in there an he'll stay.

Yeah, this is extremely annoying. It makes no sense to have autocephaly within areas that should be governed by Constantinople -- after all, most of Africa is governed by Alexandria and Armenia is governed by Antioch.

A pentarch is a patriarch and the ecumenical patriarch should also fulfill the role of pentarch in his part of the Byzantine Empire to prevent all the autocephalous patriarchs in the Byzantine Empire, which do not make sense.

If the Catholic counterpart event of mending is ever officially made, which IMHO should, then it would have most repercussions for the Ecumenical Patriarch (he'd stay a pentarch don't worry about that); all pentarch patriarchs would stay patriarchs, just one step below the Pope (but no one else in the Catholic church) of course.
