I cannot continue my game as SU on Very Hard because it crashes constantly and randomly after 1943. It seems that events about to fire triggers the crashes. I play the 1.02 beta. The sad thing is that I have been trying to stop the Gemans as SU on Very Hard for several games but given up - and once I DO manage to stop them I am unable to play past 1943 - I REALLY would like to continue this game! ANY advice except "start a new game" is extremely welcome!
P.S. I posted this in the bug report and general forums as well - kind of triple posting and YES I am that deperate to find a solution
