Now, because I have to ask, are you guys planning to release the Day One patch on Day One? Just curious whether we should expect something beyond the unlocked demo today

There will be no day one patch, since it is already included in the version you can download today. We updated it last night (after testing!).

I don't really like cats so kitten punching are still on the table. It might be celebratory kitten punch.

that would not be advisable. I still have a remote that can activate a special event series in a forumites CK2 game where they will be devoured by cats. forever.
