No mention of "update", so we'll have to buy it again ? (and DLCs ?)
Or is it a free update or free new version for current owners ? (as I guess the saves won't be backward compatible because of the 25 tiles)

The Series X version is already "Gen9Aware" and use a better resolution and framerate than Xbox One X.

You failed to provide the most important piece of information.

Is this going to be the free upgrade for us that already own the game, or we can expect your hands in our wallets... again?

Edit: Well, got the answer in FB post

Looking very, very nice.

But no mention of price or what happens to existing save games, purchases of DLCs.

25 tiles is awesome that is a massive upgrade from the existing 9. So a massive thank you for bringing this to us console players.

Very interested to find out more about this quick selection tool and ux improvements.

What about the asset editor? Why the map editor but not the asset editor?

Thank you ! Super excited and so glad there are still developers listening to their customers/player, suppadoopa cool stuff guys!

Thank you very much for finally adding more tiles.

Being a separate game (provided for free to CS owners on Xbox & PS5 as mentioned on your YouTube channel replies), will we be able to transfer our existing save files from the old game?

"(such as precision placements, distance indicator and updated snapping options)"

Can you elaborate on this please?

What about PC? The PC version could run even in 81 tiles, so giving them extra tiles from 9 to 25 wouldn't affect performance much, plus players no longer need to subscribe to a mod only for 25 tiles.

Edit: The official FAQ thread answered my question, it's not coming to PC, only for consoles.

Its a start and much more than we currently have. Who know they might increase this if all is fine on console... I'm happy to have slightly more than double to what we currently have..

Wonder if there will be a stream or some kind of gameplay video to show us all of these improvements before the release?

Also should we be curious about the roundabout at the end with vehicles going around?

This is amazing. But what I would love to know:
- Some screenshot with new graphics? I hope for some improvement. They dont need to upgrade assets, just better drawing distance and less pop-ups would be awesome.
- Was the limit of agents increated? As far as I remember there is a limit of 16k vehicles and 64k pedestrians. And this was main reason for official limit of 9 tiles. Because on migger maps (both 25 and especially 81 tiles) your city grows so big, that you run out of this limit and once you do, game stops spawning more vehicles above this limit. Breaking lots of stuff (people dont leave for work, goods are not delivered, firefighters wont leave the station,...) - so the increase of the tile limit is nice. But is the game able to actually run city of such size without bugging out?

Very happy to see that it will be a free upgrade.

Dissapointing that existing save games will not be able to be transferred also disappointing that only DLCs up to Airports will be available as "remastered" and the others will come later.
