I have been wondering will there be console commands in the game like there were in the older hearts of irons

Everyone of these games from paradox come with a nice amount of cheats. For a big cheating phony like me it's great. Although thinking of it I didn't actually ever cheat in hoi3, mostly because I'm pretty sure everything I could do just powers up my enemies aswell.

Of course they are. In the old pdxcon livestream podcat actually used console commands to turn off the FoW, weather and Political borders for example. Other than that they used console commands for the screenshots of the peace conference dev diary for example.

Playing Ironman will of course disable console commands and enable achivements just as with EUIV again. At the bottom right you can see the cut off Ironman Mode option known from EUIV right above the historical mode.

The only cheats I use frequently are noneutrality and supply cheats when the game black holes all my supplies.

I hope there is a console command to add experience to experiment with different types of divisions and unit variants. Just to see how it all works in effecting stats before I play a long term legit game.

There probably will be, because THEY will probably want that to experiment themselves for testing purposes.
