If you want to do "serious" cheating (for science!), edit the savefil and give yourself 2000% research_mod and use free = to give yourself offmap IC + resources.
Or give it to the enemy if you want a bigger challenge (for example 1-200+ extra IC to the germans so that they don't get smashed by the soviets before you have time to land in France as USA).

I know research takes a mimimum of 5 to 6 days to finish because each efficiency, the icons on techs, cap at 20% or 17% before moving to the next one.
Is 2000% research the fastest possible?
