Hi to everyone!
I've recently completed my second run with Stellaris and it seems to me thet AI empries simply can't handle late game crisis. In my first run I had machine rebellion, in the second The Unbidden; in both cases AI empires seems to ignore them unless invaded/attacked.
This problem seems to affect IA rebellion in particular: many times I saw fringe planets of this or that empire rebel and become part of the Machine càonsciousness and that is fine; what annoy me is that AI empires simply do not care: they do not make any attempt to retake a rebel planet even there is no fleet to defend it...

With The Unbidden situation is very similar. AI empires only defend themselves and never do try to regain systems occupied by the Unbidden.

It can be a design choice of course, still I think that AI empèires are too passive and I find this unrealistic. I would prefer a stronger Unbidden/Machine Consciousness/Scourge but actively fought by other AI empires...actually this situation is very immersion-breaking. Hope that developers will make some tweaks to the late game crisis mechanics.
