The amount you get depends on the quality of the objects you consecrated. It is possible to re-consecrate and try to get a better outcome with other worlds.

There is a decision on a consecrated world to un-consecrated it and try elsewhere. You also shouldn't generally consecrate asteroids and the like, they tend to be theologically underwhelming.
