conquistador problem/bug (?)

v1.02b, GC, playing Prussia:
I got some ships and a conquistador. I decided to sail down the west african coast, but when I try to enter an unexplored sea zone, I get a message saying that I should send a conquistador.
Did I overlook something or is this a bug ?

Thankfully it is no bug, but a overlooking thing and I have done it myself. Not on one, but on several occasions.
It is like this. You've got a conquistador there yes and he can explore provinces that is terra incognita. However you'll need an explorer to explore seazones that is terra incognita.
