I've recently played my first Ming game with Mandate of Heaven installed and I was wondering - if I were to conquer all my tributaries manually, by cancelling the tributary arrangement and attacking, would I lose the mandate and mingsplode? I'm a relatively new player in the Asia area so I'm uncertain of how the mandate actually works. I'm also curious about the possibility of simply conquering all the tributaries and forming a mega-ming, in a future playthrough.
The reason I'm asking is I'm attempting to piece together a trade empire of sorts, with ducats flowing from Australia and the Americas into Malacca. The problem is, Malacca is vast, having eaten many states in that region, which makes it hard for me to collect significant amounts of ducats. I'm having the same problem diverting trade from the Americas, because it must flow through Korea, who are also very large. Therefore, if there's any way of simply forcing my tributaries to give me their trade power, or a workaround in any way, that'd work too.
Thanks in advance!
