Congratulations to Paradox

Well i have played hundreds of games in my 28 year, and i have to say that CK2 is one of the best of all time. A very ambitious project that works as it supposed to.

When i bought the game i thought it would be like Rome in the Character level, but here things work . Since Hearts of Iron 3 my opinion of Paradox was shaken, but with this game im again a believer in Paradox Magic

I saw a house on fire yesterday, and a baby was trapped in it. Crusader Kings 2 heroically ran into the house and rescued the baby. That's how good Crusader Kings 2 is.

With all things considered, we haven't seen the best of CK2. PI games need time to flower, and CK2 is not even 1 year old!

Wouldn't go that far, but it definitely is one of the most fun games I've played in my life. It has certainly kept cementing the idea that there is no kill like overkill!

It's a great game.

It has its flaws here and there, but yeah...overall it is, specially since the vassal mechanic means, that it is interesting, even if you have a very powerful realm. One poor heir and everything can fall apart again.

It´s by far the best Paradox release in terms of quality at release and speed of bug fixing. HOI 3 has 3 expansions and still isn´t as polished (then again, it is more complex without a doubt, with so many provinces and maneuvering the AI has to do).

Indeed. So great that my first thought when I saw the EU4 announcement I was thinking 'better than CK2?' instead of 'better than EU3?' because CK2 is now my benchmark for Paradox's future games.
In the meantime, thank you PDS for making a great game and making it better, several times, for free.

I do have to say that CK2 has been my favourite game of the year, hands down. It's also my favourite paradox game of all time... at least so far.

Don't be silly, the world didn't end because it's greatest moment had not yet come. Now, come EUIV's release date...

Due to my strength with more modern concepts, I go with V2+AHD+A Pop Divided as my all-time fav. CK2 is a very close second.

'tis a good game. Still could use some improvement but it's by far the most comprehensive simulation of medieval Europe and near East, ever.


Vicky 2 is IMO better in some ways but I don't like it because it's so dreadfully short. The game ends just as you get to the speed.

And it will still get better and better. I have bought all the DLCs and I admit I will keep buying them for as long as PI decides to support Crusader Kings 2. This is a game I will certainly play for many years, so fantastic I consider it to be.

But there must be a complaint, right? The only thing I would dearly request from PI is some kind of scalable font program (or whatever) that would make it possible for all players to comfortably read the texts without the need of lowering too much their native monitor resolution. Besides, the font used in CK2 looks a little blurred and not so easily readable. I don´t know what others think about it, but that´s for me the only real downside of CK2.
