Playing as Japan under 1.02, although being told that I can only RM countried with the same religion, I successfuly managed to RM with moslem and other countries.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
RM prereqs are much more relaxed in the Indonesian/Asian region it seems. Even Sunni (my observation) and Shiite (someone else's in this forum) can marry other religions.
