Yeah an explanation is in order I guess ;)

I meant it to be a joke: 'Give me Nappy and I play!'

Then Daniel reacted seriously to it. And then I thought: 'Well, why not. It *is* fun to play with those leaders in a final session anyway'

But then BoB and Lotus pointed out such edits would hurt them, which I can understand as well :)

If Karl gets resurrected by this crazy magician running around then I am fine with Nappy living too :D .

I'll even write an AAR about it :D

Eum in what way will it hurt Sweden or England if davout or/and Nappy comes back with france having no fleet i could only defend myself with nappy and davout from the SWE-ENG... with wellington alive... this will make France not much fun in the endgame and i have an other question where is Le Grande Armée? i don't see much troops? i don't understand how you can be so "stupid" to lose Napoleon this early  but oké and one other question has Russia had a human war last session? or is everything prepared for this last session.

Because Nappy died in Spain, Nab (the sub) had to go and there was a little problem of having -50 or so ws. Oh and Macdonald was marching through Spain with a few mates of his.

OK,

I managed to dig up yet another sub. And one that publicly had sworn never to sub in our gang-infested game anymore. Now it appears Bob and Lotus are not satisfied with the deal I made with FAL (a deal I find highly reasonable based upon the facts presented). Well, I then demand that the two of you find a sub for PRU yourselves. I believe I average about 0.5-1 sub found for each session of this campaign (in C&C1 it was more like 1.5). I believe your average so far in this campaign is close to zero.

You have 4 days to accomplish it. Now go to work.

And I believe it would be advantageous if Eskimo made post clearly stating his intention to play. This is the final session and I do not want it to be like the final session in C&C1 when we had a sub in France (plus a few more subs). It is sad as it is that we miss our Prussian player and have yet again lost our Venice.

This was by far my favourite game a few sessions ago but it is now way down the list. The low average attendence of perms (and the amount of gangs) spoils the fun. It more resembles one-session Nappies were pure military power rules rather than having more focus on spinning long-term intricate diplomatic webs and let them decide more of the outcome.

We have one-session Nappy games for those interested (at least we used to have now and then) and we have this kind of long term campaign for those interested in such. But these C&C games tend to deterioate into something in-between, a hybrid that lacks appeal to me. I enter a campaign aiming at a long term perspective and I expect the rest of the crew to stay on and play all sessions unless very important and surprising things happens in RL. God knows how many suggestions for Friday actitivities I have said no to simply because I play C&C on Fridays. My answer to these people are: sorry, I am occupied on Friday evenings. And yes, I know there has been technical problems for some. But that is not the whole story.

How many of us have played all the sessions or at least all but one?

I believe Bob, Krisz, Labby and you. Which completely undermines what you have just written Daniel. So what if you can't play all sessions? I believe I'm missed maybe 2-3 session due to illness, technical failures and iirc 1 major party. But 2 out of the 3 times I found a sub on time.

So don't be so haughty and righteous about it, that's just lame. We've fixed the problem in Prussia and the leaders too, which you must of missed.

If only 4 out of 10(?) plays all or all but one of the sessions it is a catastrophy in my book.

If the GM misses 3 sessions out of 13 (and is seriously late to arrive at, at least, one more session) and one of them is because he prefers to go to a party.... well I will not print what I think.

Prussia is definitely not fixed and never will be. At the best we can hope for a sub the last session. Do we have one?

Regarding the leaders, will Eskimo come and play without Napoleon and/or Davout? I do not feel at all secure about that.

I checked the stats and it was only 2 sessions I've missed... But still Daniel once I was ill and the other time must of been my Dad's 50th B-day party which was on a Friday earlier in the year. Of all the other players who have been playing since the beginning, all have only missed 1 or not missed any sessions: 7 players thus. I know I don't run the tightest of ships but I don't see you GMing a game. You should do it yourself before you start slagging off me.

I thought FAL was playing and he said it was a joke about the leaders, which kinda puts that question to rest.

For teh record: I am not subbing. I said that in post #1176, though I could be more clear.

Besides, today my girl friend asked me to spend the weekend with her in a nice appartment, to which I did not say 'no'.

I wish you all good luck with the last session. Should be fun now Lotus still has Wellington.
