Conflict with Disc Emulator Software detected.

Just installed Black Plague and 1.01 patch on Vista. The game was working just fine until I rebooted the computer then got the following error:

Conflict with Disc Emulator Software detected. See http://www.securom.com/emulation_detected for more details.

Problem is, I am not running any emulation software. I did, however, install the game on an external USB drive. Surely, SecuRom is not detecting this USB drive as virtual?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

An update to this problem. I re-installed the game on my physical hard drive (not USB) and the same error is generated. So, it is not that SecuRom is detecting my USB as a virtual drive conflict.
