A major problem with the confirmation and imperial succession laws at the moment is that vassals often vote for the ruler's spouse even if legitimate heirs are available. A particularly bad case is Durcorach, since the Cyrodillic lords will pretty much always choose Veraxia over any of his children. The confirmation and imperial succession laws should be fixed so that spouses are only eligible candidates if the ruler has no legitimate children.
