That's what I call an alpha:

1) Ministers are just fake,
2) you have a flag and unit shields (wrong one, but I hope someone makes me the right one)
3) You only have to overwrite one file: text.csv, so save that
4) You aint got no leaders
5) you start with 900 manpower and get 7.9 monthly
6) luckily because off all the oil, you are selfsufficiant (save some steel)
7) you are liberal conservative
8) no country events, including, no elections of course
9) you start with 11 ships and 3 subs,2 cav units, 3 inf units and 1 tacbomber
10) i didnt make any changes to the provinces, except that Norfolk has 2 Bunkers now. Beeing the capital and all that.
11) your tech is different from the US, just because.
12) yes, the US is still (if not more of) a pushover.

Apart from the fact that it is nice to have some response, I updated the file.

Country flag is now the official flag as of March 4 1865 , while units still use the common one, because it looks better. (And yes they do really show up now).
Air minister is there now, and min of state/gov is different (not really of importance right now).

Well, before you settle on an "official" flag, you should really determine when the Confederacy achieved its victory over the Union. The CSA had something like four "official" national flags from 1861 to 1865, and the flag it kept would have been dependent on when its independence was finally recognized.

If you take Sharpsburg/Antietam as the POD (the latest major engagement that could have plausibly turned the war, IMO), the flag would be the original Stars and Bars, before the introduction of the Stainless Banner.

Five flags, and I wouldnt be so sure that in case of a victory they were to stop improving on the flag.

Because the earlier designs are just horrible.
