I have the Confederate Mod mostly done. All it lacks is better leaders/ministers, events, and descriptions. It has some leaders and ministers for all. I need to know how to make it available. I do not even know how I should arrange it. Seeing how there are changes to scenario filers, GFX, World Names, and others. I also do not know how to make it available. It is not a finsihed project yet, but Id be glad to have some of you out there test it, rate it, and suggest changes/improvents/etc. if you could jut tell me how to get it to you.

The best bet is to mae it a mod-dir, then no vanila files will get copied over... There are loads of free hosting services. Just sign up to one. I use savefile.com. You sign up, uplaod your file and it gives you a link that you can post in forums and what not...

Ah, the wonders of multi-functionality! It was designed for Silent Hunter II, but as all it does is copy files around, it can be used with pretty much any game.

What you do is:

* Unzip the application into your Hearts of Iron 2 directory (so that the JSGME.exe and 'MODS' folder are in the same directory as the HOI2.exe).
* Put the scenario files ina new directory inside the 'MODS' folder.
* Open the JSGME application.
* Activate the mod by highlighting it and clicking on the '>' symbol

Once this is done, the next time you run HOI2 the mod will be activated.

It's very simple to use, and lets you switch between all the mods you have.


You convinced me . . . I downloaded it. If nothing else I will see if I can reverse engineer it to do what I want for graphics .. . :D
