conect two railrods

i build 2 railroads one by the other and i cant conect them, i mean i want to make transition so that trains can move from railroad to the other railroad i build next to it.
how can i make the transition?

You can do that.
The problem you might be experiencing is that the two parallel railroads might be too close to one another. If so, when you try to connect them (like in your image), the game mechanics will not allow for it. Separate the tracks a little bit more, in the area you want to make the connection.
