Will we be seeing them in Victoria 2? It would pretty much just be the ability for a satellite to have two (or more) masters, so I wouldn't have thought it would be too hard to program (?). They also are quite relevant for this time period (Bosnia, Sudan, etc...), and would be a nice gameplay option.

I don't really think there are enough to warrant a full game mechanic - particularly as in Vicky game terms the Bosnian and Sudan examples wouldn't be very relevant, as Austria and Hungary would be merged into the same country and Egypt would either be classed as a puppet or fully owned by Britain already.

All the other examples look like they'd be covered by countries having colonial claims in the same state.

The cases were too much anecdotical to be implemented. It will need to break the game engine to include that weird situation, lots of work for so few utility.

Well I'd dispute this being the best representation of the Dual-Monarchy. It'd be better to have Austria having Hungary as a Dominion (Hungary was pretty much independent except for international things like foreign affairs and defence (though it did have it's own army)).
Egypt would either be classed as a puppet or fully owned by Britain already.
If it was a puppet (which IMO is the best way to represent Egypt in the British Empire) you'd still need to have that condominium setup for Sudan (similar to Austria having Hungary as it's Dominion and then Bosnia the condominium between them both).
All the other examples look like they'd be covered by countries having colonial claims in the same state.
Most of these would be single provinces (such as those in the Pacific), thus making it hard to represent.

Anyway, even if Paradox were not to implement it themselves, it'd be nice to be able to mod it in.

Bosnia might have been a legal condominium, but game-mechanic wise, it should be owned and controlled by Austria after 1878.

This concept might only be applicable to Schleswig-Holstein between the Danish gangbang and that horrible grey thing blobbing all over Germany and proclaiming an empire.

I personally see no real reason to include this. While it might be nice to add from a historical point of view, from a gameplay point of view it makes no sense. Two different countries being able to upgrade RGOs, add factories, etc. would seriously complicate things. Almost all examples of condominiums can be easily simulated by features already in the game.

Bosnia would be controlled by Austria, wether or not Hungary was a dominion.
Egypt would be a sattelite of the UK while the Sudan would be directly controlled by the UK.
Croatia would be a German sattelite (not Vicky time but still can be simulated by this game).
Oregon Country would have both American and British claims on it, using the new claim system.
Sakhalin Island had an unclear border but control of the North was Russian and of Japan in the South. Province border down the middle.
Togoland was unofficially split down the middle after two years of occupation. 6 years later officially.

All other examples of this legal framework were mostly small Pacific islands, inhabited by about 50 people.

I was thinking more along the lines of that country exists with however many masters, alliances with them all, though the exception to the alliances is/are the other master(s). All it requires is for the game mechanics to understand this setup. I was wondering if the mechanics could/would.
