It just doesn't go away. Somehow it's stuck processing at infinitum with the rest of the game blocked. How to cure? There are about ten people already reporting this issue on steam forums. Reinstalling doesn't help. Repairing game files steam thingo doesn't help. :eek:

I know there's a problem like this if you have disabled the Steam overlay, whether just for this game or overall.
