Will Paradox EVER do anything with the actual Crusades in CK2?
I mean, in real life the 1st Crusade was a mishmash of European nobles, priests, peasants, common folks etc. The Kingdom of Jerusalem was given to one of the nobles and was ruled as an independent kingdom. In CK2 the title is given to whoever contributes the most, turning into silly scenarios like a dual monarchy of England + Jerusalem for instance. This triggers me quite a lot.
Even the journey to Jerusalem is literally just
1. Drag box armies
2. Merge armies
3. Either walk them through Europe OR put them on ships
4. No events or anything, literally just put the game speed to max
5. You are now crusading
It's actually quite dull.
