Concern over Christmas/New Years break and the next expansion.

It doesn't imply any release, just that we get to know what will be coming later.

This is a Very Good Thing for 2 reasons:

• It will prevent another WoL bugfix fiasco (thank whatever superior entity(es) you worship if any, or common sense otherwise)
• It (hopefully)allows the devs to review what they've done after the holidays I.E with a fresh mind. Anyone who has ever written a line of code knows how important this is.

I was never saying the release will be before Christmas. This is very unlikely.

Well, before Christmas they did reveal that they have changed the laws tab, for example Maybe Birken was referring to those kinds of 'reveals'.

Anyway, if I understood them correctly, there will be no official announcement before 24th/25th - meaning that the expansion will be out in late January or early February at the earliest. Hopefully the expansion will be a large one since they've taken their sweet old time working on it.

We are not releasing a new expansion right before Christmas.

That's great news. I hope that also translated to 'we're not releasing a patch before we go on vacation' because I don't actually know what the pdox vacation schedule is. I'm sure it's an unpopular opinion but please take your time with the expansion and don't feel pressured to release it as soon as possible.

If it's a few weeks late because of vacation scheduling that would be fine by me.
