Computers on same network not connecting through Metaserver

Hey my roommate just bought and registered his game today. I've played CK2 with another friend who has a registered copy, but he was using his laptop and my internet. Everything worked fine. My roommate owns a desktop, his internet connection works fine, as does his CK2 copy, etc. However, when he or I attempt to join a game created it just says Game not found. Didn't have problems before with my other friend on my network. Unsure as to what the problem is - went through and checked firewalls and they are turned off. Furthermore, my ports are opened and such.

Any help would be appreciated. I haven't played CK2 online since patch 1.05a, so I don't know if any bugs with the MP are circulating. Thanks again

Last I heard the metaserver wasn't working for CK2.

Oh? My other friend, whose connection is valid, cannot be reached. So unsure how much it is cause of connections or not. Thanks for one response at least.
