I'm going to repost my thread from the general board for now, and then I'll try to trawl over the suggestions board for ideas that sound good, hoping that this gets some traction with the Community Managers.
I'm posting these largely as a reaction of disappointment to the patch notes which didn't do much for warfare UI.
And some misc. non-warfare related gripes:
This following point is more like a suggestion, but it's for those of us who are OCD about border gore: Give us an interaction that allows us to "Restore title to rightful liege" against land that's held by the vassal of our vassal(or even lower down).
Oftentimes there will be situations where you have to retract vassal, revoke title then give everything back to their rightful owners. I understand this is part and parcel of the difficulty of the game since it incurs so much tyranny, but I feel that there's a valid role-play reason for it, and it should be seen as slightly less tyrannical since I'm fixing the territorial integrity of my vassals, and also having a one-button solution saves me a lot of clicking and switching between ownership views to see what rightfully belongs to who.
Believe me when I say that for some of us, fixing our ownership-structure/border-gore is HUGELY satisfying. Just to repeat, I don't mind suffering tyranny for it, I just want to do it more easily.
Maybe even make it a special action you get at the end of a life-style tree, as a perk.
Another suggestion: Give us more ways to interact with our spouse, specifically for spouse rulers: I want to be able to support my wife some way. The game doesn't allow a liege to be a spouse-councillor, but what if I'm an extra hard-working, generous, diligent, supportive husband/wife? I want to give stat bonuses to my wife(s). This was a default functionality in CK2 but it's painfully missing here.
Also I want to help my wife quit drinking, and do other generally supportive things to get rid of their negative stress trait, heck even reform their bad traits. You could make this ability a perk in the Chivalry tree or something.

- Need a hotkey for cycling through each holding in your domain for quick upgrading
- Need a hotkey for cycling through each building slot within a holding, and and another to upgrade that slot
- Need a hotkey for cycling through idle armies you have on the map
- Hotkey to cycle through each stack in a selected army. When a stack is high-lighted it should move independently from the other stacks in the same location.
- Need a hotkey for removing the commander of currently highlighted stack. Please remove commander auto-assigning when splitting a bunch of times to create small siege stacks.
- Need a hotkey for placing and removing rally points. It should be noted that Rally points are pretty abusable right now. If you only have one, then you can summon Mercenaries and MAA regiments to it instantly. Using this you can set up deathtraps anywhere in your territory if the AI locks it's movement towards anywhere.
- Allow players to summon a set number of levies at a location. Really simple, really what we need.
- The stack-splitting UI is too small. It needs 3 columns on both the left and right: One for levies, one for knights, one for MAA regiments. Having hotkeys to cycle through, switch columns, and moving items from left stack to right stack and vice versa would be ideal.
- Commander assignment screen needs to be several columns instead of just one big column sorted by Advantage score, with no consideration for traits like Organized/Military Engineer. My suggestion is have a list of favourite commanders, kinda like the pinned character system.
- Fort level of enemy baronies should be consistently displayed on screen whenever you're at war with an army selected.
- Hotkey for deselecting the left-most/right-most stack in an army, rather than manual shift-clicking. This is very useful for raiding and when making multiple mini-siege stacks to siege all the low-fort level baronies at once.
- The Knight roster from your military screen is also just one big useless column, when it should be 3 columns: organized into ones I want to use only as Knights, only as Commanders, or both. Perhaps another column for forbidden characters.
And some misc. non-warfare related gripes:
- Please fix Indulgence spam for when you're Pope/Temporal leader. I will never say NO to free gold. Ever. Why would anyone decline? It just clutters up the screen.
- Please show amount of gold that I will get from ransom/demand payment before I click in. Show it in the "Current Situation" widget thingy that comes before the the accept/deny prompt. 15 gold is not worth wasting a click.
- Please give us a view that shows the amount of holding slots in each county/duchy etc. So we can quickly evaluate land worth.
- There should be a button in the Title interface that allows you to grant a duchy and ALL counties within it to someone whole-sale. Currently you have to give them a county within the duchy first.
- A way to search up location of special buildings like Notre Dame, Tower of London etc.
