If I am playing a game in EU3 Complete and I decide to buy and install Heir to the throne and Divine Wind; would the savegame still be playable?
Or I should better start a new game?

Well you are in Luck. If you buy Complete, Heir to the Throne and DW from someone other then steam, you can install and uninstall them as you please.But no, you cannot play an old save file on a new DLC.
