Ok well Im playing VIP. Anyways games going pretty good, I have yet to cheat :), I manage to win the Crimean War, had to prepare a lot earlier due to allying with newly formed ukraine, hungary, and yes Poland. In doing so I angered Austria and Prussia early. So I fought them, then Crimean War happened and I got back into war with Prussia and then poland or whoever made peace. Thats good, I manage to take a few provinces from Austria, then I let Ottos atk middle east shitty land while I went for SE Europe lands and I snagged Serbia and the area around it.

Anyways lol back to my post, well Alexander II trigger just happened, and I went for grand reforms which lowers crime fightin and education goes up and then it says like 100% communist rebel pops or somethin. I cant remember fully so if anyone knows plz fill it in. That aside is this a good time to try to form Communist Russia? And is it beneficial to form Communist Russia? Right now Im makin about 20$ not gettin to many machine parts so I cant industrialize to much and the Wars have kept me busy. I manage to make some steel, lumber, and then regular, upgrade ammo and a few other crappy ones.

So anyways can you guys fill me in on some info about communism in this game, and how I can achieve this, without totally ****ing my country over, if possible.

Let the communist party win to become Communist (but still have elections).

Basically that event said Commie pops are alot more rebelious, so every commie population you have, it will be alot more aggresive.

there are 2 ways: know their party's platforms, and then when the issue events pop up during an election, go with whatever option matches up with the views of the communist party.

The other way is to wait for a commie rebellion and then let them take the capital. If you're lucky, the gov't will switch to communist.

Check you parties to see if the commie party is available yet, it doesn't appear untill later in the game. You may be able to just set it was the ruling party depending on how your government is set up. The only change you'll see is that min taxes are 50% though.
