Communique: Adolf Hitler to General von Manteuffel
Date: December 16, 1944
Time: 0 Hundred Hours
I've decided to send reinforcements to assist with the new offensive in the Ardens. Additionally, I've decided to promote you to the rank of Field Marshall. The cermionial bat I've ordered for you is being made now, and should be delivered shortly. Here is a pretty picture of what it should look like.
Anywho- congradulations and good luck.

Pleased to hear the progress is being made towards Antwerp- your orders are to sieze the city, oh and Luxenburg, make sure to retake Luxenburg as well- I've always loved their chocolate.

Additional worries plague me- on my way out of High Command Central I overheard part of a conversation- most of it was muddled, however I clearly made out "squirrelly" and "Hitler" in the same sentence. Belive a coup-conspiracy is in the works- only you can be trusted, will keep you apprased of the situation.
P.S- Why haven't you captured Antwerp yet?

After much contemplation, I've deduced that nature of the conspiracy. Elements of High Command are in league with the squirrels of Germany- together they plan to overthrow me and make peace on the eve of victory! Belive the message you recently recieved, namely "Nuts!", from the American General in the Bastonge region was the signal to commence the operation. I will have the Gastopoe investigate the situation. For now, continue towards Antwerp, though be aware that I may eventually need your help to put down the coup.

Gastopoe reports that both High Command and the squirrels remain loyal to the Fatherland. My instincts say otherwise.... there must be hidden Communist squirrels! That's it, Communist squirrels will launch the coup any time now, but they will not succeed! Mark my words, by the next time we speak the Communist vermin will be eliminated!
P.S.- Congradulations on taking Antwerp. Your next mission is to sweep through to the northwest and cut off their forces.

I'm extremely upset that your attempt to cut off the allies failed. If you used that bat I gave you would have smashed them for sure! Your new orders are to capture Paris.
P.S.- Make sure you use the bat this time!

Glad you decided to ignore my orders and cut off the allies northeast of Dunkirk- the irony is most rich. Your new orders are to reduce the size of the pockets.

My coat pockets are smaller! This is no time for jokes, get back to killing Americans!

A squirrel was staring at me with its beady black eyes. I think they're after my chocolate. They'll never get it though, I have it safely stored in my stomach! On a side note,- I'll need to borrow your bat when you return to Germany.

Word has reached me that your on the outskirts of Paris. I'm on the way there, I'm sure you'll have captured the city by the time I arrive. I intend to stand once more in triumph before the Eifel tower- JUST MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO SQUIRRELS IN THE AREA.
