Currently as the player we can get detailed information about the AI and the likelihood that they will agree to certain things.

For example, when we want to declare war, we can see who will come to the aid of the defender and who will assist us in the attack. I want to be able to tell the AI the same sort of information about my intentions.

I would like to be able to inform Aragon that I will assist them in a "Restore Union" war with Naples, because I need them to help me take on Castile, but their king died with negative prestige. This would be a declaration of intent to meaningfully assist, not just turn on war taxes.

Also, I would really like to see a threat matrix of sorts. It is obviously fairly easy to gauge who might attack you, but it would also be nice to have an assessment of which allies would answer the call should you be attacked. This is really useful information. We can see who would defend or join an attack when we initiate it and so we help with debt etc to gain more useful allies, why not the same for defense?

Also, while I am thinking of things, why not allow the AI to set targets in a war the same way that we set targets for them, and reward both the player and AI for successfully sieging those targets. Also, perhaps more detailed targets, like "please blockade this port" or "kill that doom stack" or "guard that mountain castle at the choke point" instead of only reacting after the siege has started and attacking in awful conditions.

You mean on a more tactical level than the strategic level? Because the strategic level interaction with the AI will see some improvements with 1.14: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...diary-october-22nd-2015.887930/#post-20118499
I haven't heard any difference on the tactical level with 1.14 though.
Ho-hum! That looks pretty awesome. I would still like the ability to declare support for a particular casus belli, making it more likely that the AI will go to war over it. And the tactical stuff, which you mentioned.

But I like the changes coming in 1.14! :)
