The Danish however threaten the Haneastic League, and as long as they do so, I must adamantly oppose this. The Haneastic League have always represented the best intrest of Poland, remember that Danzig herself is a member of it, though under Polish protectorship.
I must admit that i'm suprised to see the Leaguemaster to be concerned over Hansa, their main trade enemies in the region. I'm not sure it's plain goodwill...
But as for the Moscow, i'd think you're right. But there is no need to eliminate whole nation. I'd suggest we leave them Moscow and Novgorod, but keep them away from the Khanates.. conquering a few provinces to stop their expansion

You should visit my land soon. We aren't as barbaric as the Radziwilli family thinks. We are educated, but my subjects are mainly ppor, that's true.
But back to the point. As I said before, I highly support an alliance between our two countries. Although I have no vote in Diet, I support the idea and King knows he can not ignore the powerful Cossacks.
On another issue, I have to admit (never thought I'd say that) that Mikolaj's ideas are good. We should damage Russia, but not take 'em out. We are not powerful enough for that and I think most European nations wouldn't like that. My informants in Moscova have informed me that the tzar has plans on expanding through the Khanates: Kazan, Golden Horde and later Astrakhan & Sibit all lie in his path. I suggest we damage him there. By taking out or at least damaging the mughal Golden Horde, we also damage Russia.

Yes, i tend to agree with the Ataman here...
We should not attack the Russians directly. It would be much wiser to damage the Golden Horde, and steal Samara with its gold mine, and possibly one or two other provinces. But as you say, all this will be thorougly discussed in the Diet...

My Lord has heard several of milords speak against action against the Turk, hoping for perhaps the Habsburgs, Hungarians and Turks to wear themselves down out of existance, but sadly this is not the case.
I fear only my lord (and perhaps the Ataman) has seen the vast ranks of the heathen, thousands upon thousands of troops at the behest of able commanders and while they follow that heathen god of theirs, they are fervent in their believe and fight long and hard in his name.

I understand thee, mister Lubomirscy, for my lands are nigh also. But I have to stress that Turkey won't come after us soon. There are reports of skirmishes with the Mameluks in Egypt. Hungary is also more of an immediate Turkish target. Therefore I still don't like the alliance with Hungary

Dear Vaclav...Although we aren't best of friends, I am happy that you support me. I fully support you, although I am not sure if cavalry can stop a big Turkish army
If and when it comes to an outright war against the Turks, Mykhailo, i strongly believe that we will form a good team, with your hordes of infantry to keep them at bay and my cavalry to make quick raids. Together we will crush them, if they dare disrespect us.

But mostly, he is worried what pertains in the future. What if the Turk is to win these wars? Not even the might of our great commonwealth can stand against a force as mighty as the Ottoman EMpire, should she ever swallow these countries...

If the Ottomand should go at war with Mameluks and HUngary and SHOULD win, then we will have things to worry about. THe Turkish threat is not to be ignored, but I am sure there are more immediate issues

Do not question the military abilities of the League. Sure they cavalry can't match the nobles', and their infantry can't match my hordes, but their artillery is unmatched in our empire

I think it would be no more than fitting that the Lubomirscy are supreme commanders of the joint forces against the Turks, as their personal involvement in the issue would give our troops a considerable morale boost.
