I think you misunderstood our King. 10% royal tax is the money we pay from our annual income to the Royal Treasury. I think no inflation will rise from there.

I agree with you, pan Zamoyscy, about the fact that we need to have more accurate data about condition, numbers, morale and skills of our armies. May the king please name Hetmans so they can share their ideas on this matter?

I agree that 10% of our income goes to the royal tresury. I`m sure that our king will decide wisely, what to do with it.

Nobles, King, leaders of the Church, I know I shouldn't be here at all. Therefore I will quickly state a few things and then dissappear. I won't bother you again

You nobles are so busy with war and conquest, but don't even know who they are facing. I will introduce you the so called Golden Horde.
The Horde consists of the remains of the formed Mogols, lead once by the famous Genghis Khan. There are fierce steppe people, skilled in archery and horseriding, and currently lead by FIELD CHIEF JUDGE, of whom I have forgotten the name. Sure, their lands hold riches but it won't be easy to beat them. They don't have any infantry or artillery but their army currently consists of 50000 (!!!!) skilled horsemen. I would advise thee, powergreedy nobles, to think wisely before attacking them.

Considering the lands of Siberia, it is distant but these lands hold many riches in terms of iron, copper, gold and furs. Cossack scouts have visited this plains before but few returned from their journey. If we can lay claim on these lands I ensure you that money no longer will be a problem. Note however that between the lands of the Horde and the Siberian steppes lies the nation of Sibir, another nation consisting of Moghols...

As far as I can influence this [NOT AT ALL] the cossacks support an alliance with Venice, Hungary and Moldavia. I suggest improving our relations with Venice.

My Lords, i remind you that royal tax is not peasant tax, it's nobles' tax[game-wise it's tax which is taken from players income-so 10% means that your income is lowered by ten percent, which goes to Crown treasury]

Honourable Prymas, despite of religious differences Mameluks and we have the same enemies. And as the saying goes- "enemies of my enemies are my friends". So i'd still suggest Mameluks as possible allies. Naturally, our king has the final word about that.

I would like to confirm my agreement on the amount of our taxes that goes to the royal treasury. 10% seems like a reasonable figure, and since our King is nothing short of an economic genius, i am sure he will put our money to good use!

I would also like to thank my King for appointing me for the office of Grand Hetman of the Crown. I greatly appreciate this vote of confidence in my military skills, and i will not dissappoint you when we ever choose to take the path of war!

I am sorry to say this, but i cannot tolerate this Cossack in our meetings! It has been stated many times before that he is NOT in the Diet, and as such, he should not enter our chambers. This is, in my opinion, a grave breach of Commonwealth laws, and i suggest that some action is taken. It is simply ridiculous that we have laws if they are broken already during the first Diet session! For once, i can live with this, but if the Cossack intrudes on us once more, i strongly support serious disciplinary actions are taken towards him.

My apologies for my blunt language, but i have my reasons.

10% revenue looks to be a most generous amount, milords.

In deferance to the Atamans report on our neighbours the Golden Horde, I believe we should tread lightly but yet, we should still bring the commonwealth to war against them. The prospects of a few thousand horsemen is nothing to be afriad of surely? Therefore I propose we mass a large force on the border and attack as soon as possible, if not for stopping the Russian (theorised) expansion, then surely to liberate good, honest folk instead.

I believe we must first muster some more troops, unless you can inform us about the size of the Royal Army, because as far as i know, not many of us nobles have a standing army worth that name. And as one of my colleagues has stated a while ago: "Foolish is the general who goes to war without an army".

I would like to propose a new declaration of war, against the Golden Horde, for the 1st of January 1489. This takes into consideration that some nobles might want to build up their armies or strengthen their border fortifications before we engage in a war. Of course, i will be ready at that time to lead our armies to glory!

I am not feeling well today so I will be brief.

1) I do not support a war of agression against the Muscovites.

2) I support Pan Jan Zamysky's nomination as Diet Marshall.

3) I believe we should seek alliances with Venice, Sweden, and Persia. I do not believe that we should waste our time on seeking an alliance with the hungarians.

4) I support paying 10% of our annual income to Royal Taxes.

5) I propose that we spend 2/3 of our income on research and the rest goes into the treasury.

6) I propose that as soon as the Turks become embloled in a war that we declare war on them if we have an alliance with a nation that has a boder with them. Preferably Venice and/or Persia.

Prince Roman Ostrogski rises

Ah, Noble King, I am honoured that you have chosen me to be Field Hetman of the Duchy. It is an honour I shall wear with much joy.As for war against the Horde, 1st January 1489 is pleasing to me as well. Some nobles do not have much military in their lands(of their own, of course), and so, allowing a year to build up is wise.

As for taxes, as I said before, 10% is all my peasanst can afford. Any more, and I fear they may be hard pressed to survive.

Dear Nobles, Ataman Mykhailo broke our sacred law. He shall not be punished here today, but he will be punished if such a thing EVER happenes again. Let be known, that anyone who will break our laws will be arrested and punished.
