yes, it was used back then and used it is used today. as we can see the letters don't bend or curl. handwriting isa completely different matter. hitler didn't like the sutterlin and the fractur. fractur styles were replaced by the atiqua the same way it was used in the rest of the western world. sutterlin was replaced be several others like this one i learned in school:

Look at the capital "A"s and "L"s, the eszett, etc.. Looks pretty curled myself, if that isn't I don't know what is. I think you're over-analyzing what I was stating, ha. Just modern-esque, but with a little style.

but that is handwriting. printed characters look completely the same as in the US for example. an A looks like an A and nothing else.

The fonts seem okay to me. The font used to represent the USSR seems really Russian to me and the German font looks German or Germanic to me too. So imho the dev's don't need to change any of them: they're quite ok already.

Of course I don't speak Russian, but I do speak and have read a lot of period German and this fonttype seems ok to me. Why change somethinge people only start complaining about now, instead of months before (when Semper Fi came out)?
