My thoughts exactly. People are always going to find something wrong, and if I was a developer, I'd take pride in the fact that people have taken to complaining about fonts instead of more serious issues.
yes, it was used back then and used it is used today. as we can see the letters don't bend or curl. handwriting isa completely different matter. hitler didn't like the sutterlin and the fractur. fractur styles were replaced by the atiqua the same way it was used in the rest of the western world. sutterlin was replaced be several others like this one i learned in school:
Look at the capital "A"s and "L"s, the eszett, etc.. Looks pretty curled myself, if that isn't I don't know what is. I think you're over-analyzing what I was stating, ha. Just modern-esque, but with a little style.
