No.
The WE also rises from recruitment in peacetime. It should probably be considered dissatisfaction rather than war exhaustion.
Alright, thanks. But how fast does it decrease then?

Because the bonus is 150% - it is only the tooltip help that is misleading (when hovering over the wartax button)
In some cases, it much, much more than doubles you monthly tax income from provinces.
One example would be a non-state cultured non-state religion province without road access (at 10%), for a shia (or confucian) nation, while at stab <=1. The tax modifier would be 100%-30%-30%-10%-20%=10%.
With war taxes, the modifier would be 160%, an increase by a factor 16.![]()

Hmm... I think the eventual loss of stability would be better than adding WE during peacetime. This peacetime WE thing would be easily exploited anyway by just waiting a year or two to declare war.
+50% would make it a "never hit me button" due to the stability hit. Remember that your gain is old the surplus income minus your stability raising cost in most cases.Originally posted by stillzig
I guess I'll ignore what the tooltips sayBut isn't that a bit much? +50% would be acording to the rules & more realistic. No wonder money still isn't hard to come by.

Wow. I love this patch. I'm not spending all my time crushing rebels (easily but time-consumingly). Instead I get severe economic problems and a few nasty rebellions. It just feels so much better now....... 3 rebellions at once makes me afraid instead of annoyed (and it doesn't happen every month).
Excellent.![]()

As far as Smyrna-Thrace is concerned, its a vital link, without it, OE (unless it kept its capital in Anatolia) wouldn't get any manpower from outside of Europe. I'm sure the Sultan would be none too pleased to be missing out on that nice Egyptian manpower.![]()
