A planet without the Thrace-Anatolia link, I think. The result of removing the Thrace-Smyrna link would solely be that the distance from Thrace to Smyrna rose from one province to two. No impact on manpower whatsoever, since the Thrace-Anatolia link is quite sufficient in that regard. :)

Considering the fact that OE does not start with Thrace its a pretty important connection.

And no, it will not be changed.

I'm still a non-believer in the TC changes. An excess of money is not a problem in the early game and the inability to raise new forces makes the AI end the HYW after the first major battle. Newly independent countries are absolutely screwed. Considering that on VH difficulty a lot of countries start with HUGE armies that are needed to fend off rapacious neighbors, making maintenance drive the player controlled Turks or Poles into bankruptcy in the first twenty months is not helpful gameplay wise.

This change will turn off newer players, who will look at their rapidly dwindling treasury and wonder what they are doing wrong. They will look at the manual and find that they are doing nothing wrong, since the manual is light-years beyond the progress of the game.

I do like the new RR scripts, though I echo the concerns about overly weakening already revolt prone states.

In the meantime, I think I will go back to 1.07. It's getting too hard to make meaningful tests with changes every day. It looks like the testing is in good hands with most of the board anyway.
