I am exactly in the same camp as you - I liked the micro-management in Vicky, but was also quite happy (after some - ahem! - vigorous persuasion) with the changes that King and aberg made to Revolutions, with respect to factory and RR construction.Appreciate the kind words. However, as you can probably tell by reading, I did not handle this first game in an "optimal" manner. I've restarted the game twice since I played this first, and it's getting better. Learning the diplomatic side of things helps a lot.

I'm not going to get into detail right here. But trust me, unless your are a SUPER micro-management freak, I will say with a lot of certainty that if you like v1, you will love v2. If you were simply a regular micro-management freak like me, then the same applies. You'll love it.
