Coming October 24 2023 I Pre-Order Now I Cities: Skylines II

There seems to be no mentions or hints anywhere of any bicycle infrastructure or anything in relation to decorating like parks or props. This is really dissapointing but fingers crossed this is simply stuff that has not been revealed yet.
There is already a schedule for the diaries, and perhaps there will be more screenshots and details. But yes, it is sad. I guess we'll have to wait for the DLC. By the way, the canals are also nowhere to be seen

So are the last 2 roads actually pedestrian roads?

Because I'm looking at Victoria Street and it doesn't look particularly like a road for traffic yet interacts with both the road to the right and the tram only track on the left unlike a path.

What’s with all the texture pop-ins and low quality water in the trailer? Is that just cause the game is in Alpha or are there issues with the engine? I hope there is actual anti-aliasing solutions in the game this time because the first game was terrible for AA, I had to download a mod to upscale the game resolution by x4 to make it all look less jaggy. Also please fix the deathwave (where everyone dies all at once) issue this time that was never fixed, I had to mod that out myself and disable deaths just so the game was playable.

If you guys don’t know what im talking about try slowing down the trailer and you’ll see what I mean.
All that being said I like the new UI, and there’s some new QoL features that should have been in the original. I do like what I see it’s a good starting point.

Each team decides what platforms to develop their games for so no, it's not a [Paradox-wide] policy. Why this decision was made is a good question that I don't have an answer for as I'm not part of the Cities team so unfortunately I can't tell you anything more than it's Windows only at launch, more platforms may be added in the future.

Please reconsider the employee numbers for large assets - in the trailer the university shows 30 staff for 2,500 students which is silly - that would not even cover cleaning and catering.

Not only this, but we've seen streets with trees, small streets. But there are not streets with trees on this menu, so.... How we will be able to add them? It's true that we've seen what Colossal Order wanted us to view, and also share with the Youtuber created the city, so we will have to wait to finally find out if there is no options (like someone said in bicycling) or yes, they are.

Hi, will CS2 let players roam their cities as a cim like the original does on consoles?

(For clarity I mean free roaming in third person perspective rather than following existing cims on their random paths).

I bought the pc version thinking I could do this and was bitterly disappointed that feature was missing, so I want to make sure the sequel will allow us to do that before I pre-order.

Chirper is not explicitly shown, but its icon appears on the right of some screenshots.
Death to Chirpy :p

In all seriousness I get it's part of the game's brand, however I would prefer it if it was less annoying this time round, it was on level with the Microsoft Word Paperclip guy.
