Most tedious & pointless part of the whole game, & previous versions.. Get rid of it, as it makes no sense. If you must have it in then have it occur for the whole region (I.e. Western Europe) than just one specific country.

Most tedious & pointless part of the whole game, & previous versions.. Get rid of it, as it makes no sense. If you must have it in then have it occur for the whole region (I.e. Western Europe) than just one specific country.

I actually think it would be interesting if it impacted all countries on the globe. A global 1 stability drop might have some interesting consequences.

That would only work with very specific events like volcano explosions (think Huaynaputina in 1600, Laki in 1783), which on itself would be very cool.

For comet sighting events I just want more options! Maybe and an achievement for trying every single one during one playthrough , even though getting it that often would be very unlikely

Tell that to the poor people of my Byzantine Empire, who had to endure 8 stability drops during the first 80 years . just my luck

I will take a Comet Sighted over a Nobles Demand Recompensation any day of the week. I'm generally pretty happy to get Comet over most of the other -stab events, honestly.
