Combining Motorised with mech techs and divisions

Is it possible to combined motorised divisions with mechanised divisions?

I'd hate that these are two seperate techs and units! I'd like to see early motorised divisions use the moterised spite and the later war motorised divisions use the mechanised sprites. Is this possible?

How can I combined these two techs? specificly what is needed.

My opinion is different. Until '80s if not '90s, many armies used large contingents of motorised infantry (even in the NATO) to give light infantry mobility, thus I think they should stay separated.

This is not something for CORE, so if you want to do this yourself I suggest you ask in the general modding forum.

CORE will have separate Motorized and Mechanized units (divisions). Sprites for these will be as in vanilla.

Perhaps the good way to do it would be to follow the HSR way - use mot. inf. and mechanized regiments as an attachment.
