Also, it would be nice if colony ships built in sector stations could somehow show up in outliner. Now the ones built in core worlds do that, but those built by you on sector bases don't. instead they show as "belonging to sector X".

Someone just replied to my thread asking this same question, apparently if you click the planet you want to colonize you can then select which ship to colonize with, and that interface shows the pops on each ship. I haven't tested myself, but it seems reasonable.
