When running 6 or more colonies at the same time and needing to colonize new ones I've always needed to wait for 300 or so days, even if the colonist will colonize the province adherent to the previous one where he was staying.
This cause a loop where as soon as a colonist arrive i need to recall him for the new one.
Having an interface similar to the merchant one would allow to send specific colonist to the selected province, this would also be a way to add some more strategy to colonizing.

Would be better to have colonist stay in the province they where and then move to the new one?

I don't understand why there isn't a button for letting CN stay out of wars. or at least some kind of difference between declaring a war in the Americas/Australia then the rest of the world.

Why can't CN simply not be called in for non-colonial wars allowing less debt and less unrest for them or have just a copy-paste scutage button?
The idea to allow CN to start a war is nice but i don't understand why AI does it without the overlord's approval, sometimes causing them issues (e.g new formed Canada declare war on a much larger Canada; which i have a truce with, not allowing me to enforce peace, and obviously losing)

Why there isn't a button for not declare war on other CN or why can the AI do this without overlord's approval (e.g pop up " i want to declare war" -agree -disagree)?

I've seen multiple CN colonize outside of their region, causing some ridiculous border gore (e.g. Peru cutting Argentina in half or Brazil going for the interior and not taking the more rich coastal provinces).
This is something that i generally have to fix myself, colonizing all the coast or specific provinces so that other CN won't start to invade others colonial areas.
It's also strange that CN don't prioritize having their land connected.

Wouldn't having an objective province for them to colonize be better?

TLDR: indented are questions.

That's not even half the existing issues :D

- No land connection means your colonist travels around the world (=max travel time possible. Think it was 700 days)
- Colonies don't adjust their POI in accordance with you
- Colonies can separate peace even if you're the warleader, preventing you from taking 100% WS because you can't hand it over since they're not in the war anymore (and they cut off all connections)
- etc.

I knew there where more issues with Colonies but most of them i consider to be bugs or not intended "features".

I tried to post something that could actually give the devs some ideas on how to address posted issues and improve them.

Also do you have any ideas on why the scutage button doesn't exist for CN?

I have no idea if it has been changed, but once I heard the colonists' travel time is calculated as if they were travelling by sea, which means if you have a province in Central America with a port on the Caribbean side and colonise one with the port on the Pacific side, they travel around Cape Horn.

If this is the case than colonist needs a complete rework, and it doesn't really explain why interior provinces take so long to reach.
