My colony started a war war with another CN that was vastly more wealthy than it (sigh), and it's almost fully occupied at this time but it won't call me into the war. What gives?

(We're both in another war, but *on the same side* obviously, so that shouldn't stop the CN from calling me. Although it is stopping me from inserting myself into the war via enforce peace, which makes no sense).

If you are in a war with the CN that is at war with your CN then you can't enforce peace. You also have to enforce peace on the other party, not your CN. This will call its master into the war against you as well.

I'm not in a war with the other CN or its master. I am trying to enforce peace on the other CN. It tells me I can't because we (my CN and I) are in another war together.

(I had previously been in a war with the other CN and its master, on the same side, like 10 years ago, which I peaced out of, but is still ongoing. Given that the CN-CN war couldn't have started *during* the war, and only started after, it would be ridiculous if my former participation in that war was preventing me from enforcing the peace).

-----------------

And colonies used to call their overlords into wars in 1.7.3. At least I remember that happening. (I don't remember if my CN was the aggressor or defender at the time, because who pays attention to that?)
