g’day everyone. I’m quite new to this game, so I’m here to seek answers from the experienced veterans here. Today I activated the extended time line mod, and I made a custom one province nation in Australia ( present day Sydney to be exact) I gave myself a single colonist as my tradition idea, since I plan to to slowly colonise the whole continental Australia, New Zealand, and then the rest of the small islands in the pacific.
Now my problem is this, in vanilla game, New Zealand and Australia are one colonial regions, but the extended timeline mod puts New Zealand and the surrounding islands as “colonial Oceania”. So I’m wondering, if I start colonising New Zealand, will it be part of my country ( maybe cause it’s in the same continent and very close to my capital) or will it turn into a colony of mine (which I don’t want to happen)
Any help would be much appreciated:)
