I'm curious if anyone else dislike the war score system that involves basetax,AE and colonial nations.
You can almost annex a Scandinavian nation/Finland in one go, while late game a 4 province Austria can cost 120% to vassalize.
And before anyone talks about historical accuracy etc etc, the Ottomans annexed the Mamelukes in one war, so there.

Another thing thats a pain is how useless colonial nations is thrown in the equation when it comes to war score.
Portugal in Iberia can be reduced to 3 provinces and you can have taken them all but because they have several colonial nations that can muster
an impressing 5000 troops you only get 30% war score. Yes you can build boats you say but no you cant do that if lets say you are playing a clock maker in Switzerland.
Useless colonial nations that cant contribute shouldnt count. If they can build boats and send troops to fight for their master then ok, but the way it is now they are just a get
out of jail card for colonisers.

I guess many of these things wouldnt have been so bad if it wasnt for the draconian peace timer. Dismantling a rich nations can be done it just take many wars, the problem is peacetimer and basetax scaling. Its almost comical that the peacetimer is there to prevent blobbing (or to prevent Johan from getting beaten in office MP) yet the results are that blobs get even more powerful than before.
