Hello!
This is the first time I have posted a thread on the forum for a long time, so this is the gist of it:
I am playing as Spain and I have a couple of Colonial Nations, the Caribbean, the one that is located in Panama and Columbia, and the one on the east coast of America. So the nations are formed, they are crown colonies and they are getting attacked and losing provinces to the pre Columbian nations and I cannot intervene.
How can I help my colonies to not lose their land?

The key is to keep your colonies opinion of you above 100 (for example by sending officers or by using a diplomat). Then you can enforce peace on them as described above. As grotaclas points out below that's actually not necessary. There is a button under diplo actions for it.

In addition, if you have finished exploration ideas you simply produce claims on natives and `kill 'em all´. I tend to keep a 20 unit stack with some cannons in my colonies as I will have to either intervene or conquer natives for my colonies.

If you are playing with all DLCs in 1.33 there is a also a nasty bug with native land - make sure not only demand land they currently own but also the land they have claims on. Otherwise you'll lose this land if the natives form a federation. This bug is supposed to be fixed in the coming update.

You should also always subsidise your colony - not only will grow faster using colonists but they will also be able to field a larger army so that they are less likely to be attacked.

100 opinion is not needed when enforcing peace on an attack of your own CN. The opinion only matters if you help an independent country(+0 opinion when you are the HRE emperor and helping an HRE member and +100 opinion otherwise)
