Collector's Edition in the U.S.

I was wondering when will the Collector's Edition will be available for preorder in the U.S. Amazon.com doesn't have any listing for it and and Gamestop.com has a listing for only the regular edition. None of the big retailers such as Wal-mart or Best Buy have a listing for any edition. I want my EUIII!!!! So where are the Norte Americanos getting their preorders???

I think they try to time the shipments so that they arrive on the release date. The whole idea is to make purchasing through Paradox more appealing then going to a store.

My understanding is that it is more friendly to use ParadoxShop as they get more of the profit that way.

So if you really want to support Paradox buy it from them directly.

When i bought HOI2 Doomsday i bought it from the shop and got it within 2 days of the official release (and a full week before anyone here in South Florida got it).

Kudos to Paradox! That is a major coup to get the game in a major US retailer that is not *just* a game store or *just* an electronics chain.

For those on the other side of the pond, Target in the USA is one of Wal-Mart's major competitors.

I hope you meant across the US, because I dont think we have Target stores in Canada. At least its not a store chain I know here in Vancouver.

I don't wanna drive all the way to Target on the release day and than have them tell me it's going to be available in a couple of days etc. when the game is in their stocks or in a remote cargo ship.

you could always use Target online and have them ship it to you. Preorder it once they have a listing up for it (they don't currently, but since release day is not for several weeks, not a surprise given the Christmas rush).

Shipping to stores date

Always check with your local retailer, as Paradox we set a shipping to stores date but since we don't have our own staff putting products on shelf, the rest is left up to the retailers.

As for European retailers we are in the process of updating our website with more local info.
