Unfortunately I have almost no modding experience whatsoever, but I'd love to contribute anything I can. I think, for now, the core gameplay is complete, but there are a lot of things we can/add change:
Events are the big one. I've been playing the Fatherland scenario, as well as Churchill's Nigthmare, and there are almost no unique events for these scenarios. Not to mention a number of problems with the base scenario (In Churchill's Nightmare Britain, at this point a Nazi puppet, still controls Belize and territory in South East Asia. I think you can see the problem.)
The tech tree still needs some work, mostly naming units. I know Nomonhan didn't like making names up, but it's a total gamebreaker to see my newest ships being called "Super Heavy Advanced Air Carrier-class". Fictional names could just have an asterisk next to them - for example, the U.S.'s Advanced Super Heavy Battleship could be Montana-class*. There's also an issue when certain techs become available. For example, Nuclear Transports only become available after researching Nuclear Light Carrier - despite its historical year being 1955, five+ years before Nuclear Light Carrier. Same with Turbojet Carrier Wing - its historical year is 1945, but you need Semi-Modern Air Carrier (1952) to research it!
