Cold War DLC?

While it would be interesting to see, the main focus of HoI is War, but the Cold War was about every aspect of diplomacy(War, Espionage, Politics, etc) and HoI is pretty boring when you're not in war, the game is just building up you military to go to war, not that I don't like HoI, I just think it's to War focused and They probably won't add DLC that changes most aspects of the game....or will they?

Fully agree with you. This is exactly the reason why I would prefer a new game rather than DLC place in a Cold-War scenario.

I don't get why people think Cold War (not '50s WW3, actual Cold War) content has any place in a WW2 strategy game. Adding the Cold War would be increasing the HoI timeline by about 500%, and it's not like CK2 where randomly generating the extra time will work well.

i.e., basically Doomsday 2 DLC, which is a great idea as far as I'm concerned.

Paradox could use existing EvW materials to create a Cold War DLC perhaps.

It would be easier compared to if they just start from scrap.

I hope we get Doomsday v2 and then, eventually, get the Cold War in its own game, done right.

I have been waiting for a proper cold war grand stratagy game for about 6 years (i'm only 20) and East Vs West seemed to be the game of my dreams. Their wasn't anything about it that I didn't like the look of. Just a shame it was cancelled less that a month before release. I like WW2 but its been done, build up, blitzkrieg, north Africa ,Barbarossa, Germany looses. A cold war game has so much potential, not to mention the fact that EvW mixed hoi3 and Vicky2, something that I have wanted for years in a HOI game. Whilst I'm still immensely hacked off at PI, maybe I would buy HOI4, but i dont think I will rush to but it on release. For years we have wanted a cold war HOI, i still think that a cold war game would outsell a WW2 game. Please make a cold war game.
