So, this is something I have never seen before:
I get the pop up that my truce with Sindh is over, yet when I want to declare war on them, it says I will get -5 stab for breaking truce. (Which also then happens, I checked). Yet, somehow, they are able to join a coalition against me .... Can someone explain to me why this is a thing now?

One way truces have been possible for a fair whiles now, meaning that it's possible for you to have a truce towards Sindh, but not vice versa.

Guaranteeing someone and breaking tributary comes to mind.

I know about that, and neither of those is the case. I never guarantee people in my games and as an indian sulatanate i cant even establish tributaries nor was Sindh ever a tributary of someone else.

Some times, for no reason, there are a few days difference between the truce times.
The truce ends for one tag, and a few days later for the other.
In very unlucky cases, your truce ends after the montly tick.

It's been like this for a long time, one of those age-old bugs that's been ignored since forever. They way I try to avoid this is by sending peace deals one day before the beginning of the month. Also set the pop-up of truce expiring to pause the game.

Although, that’s a pretty small coalition, so you should still be able to faceroll them fairly easily. Best to do so now, before any other nations get the bright idea to try and stand against you ;)

Well, sure, it's nothing that really bothers me in this case, however it said the truce would be over in April of the same year, in the screenshot it's June and I waited til November and STILL had the -5, so I just attacked Malwa instead. Yea, it's not a big coalition, but I can't help but think what happens should I get a coalition of 30 nations because of stuff like this. Because, if this happens with all your neighbours, there is no counterplay. It's like, what do you do if say, you play Byzantium, you start beating up Ottomans and you get over -50 AE with them, AQ, Mamluks and some other dumbshit. You wanna juggle truces but suddenly you get a 500k troops coalition in early 1500s .... you can basically restart the run.

You can also get a 1 way truce by using threaten war and force break alliance Great Power action. I think anyway, I haven't played in a while.
True, but only for the country you use the break alliance on. And as far as I know, this will still be showed correctly, as the only truces that do not show are for revoking guarantees and breaking tributary status, I think?

I think all truces are shown, but you have to look at the right place. If you have a one-way truce with a country it shows up in your diplomacy view and in the "Truce will expire" notification(on the top of the screen) and in the truces map mode. But they are not shown if you look at the other country because that country doesn't have a truce with you.

Yea, you're right. I usually don't check truces via my diplomacy view tho, cause normally I don't get one-way truces in my games ever. The only exception I can think of is when I play Manchurian hordes...
