Hello!

Today I started to play as Prussia in my second campaign and after some war with Austria, Sweden, Denmark etc. I had much land and naval dominance. I started a war against Russia to get some more land and naval dominant cities and I manage to take control over some dominant cities from Russia in a war I hope to win. My next step was Riga which was a naval dominant city and I took over it. I had after that the naval dominant power of 100%. Directly after it was announced Russia started a coalition against me.

From my bullshit to my question: Can I start a coalition against Russia (don't know how if) or must Russia be a dominant power like me if I should be allowed to start a coalition against them?

From my understanding Russia in your game was the dominate land power? I think the dominate naval power can form a coalition against the dominate land power and vice versa.

No, France was the dominant land power. Russia had "nothing" but I guess they could make a coalition because I was the dominant naval power and we were in war or something like that.

So I have a other question that I hope will be answered:

I can take it fast and easy:

France=Land Dominant Power
Prussia*=Naval Dominant Power

*I am Prussia

So while I was in war against Russia, France started a coalition against me. I guess it is because I am the naval dominant power. Since France was the land dominant power I should be allowed to start a coalition against them too I think. But I can't do it and I don't know how I should do if I could, but I guess it is not so hard. :)

So why can France start a coalition against me (Prussia) and I can't start one against France? It is so unfair! :)

I can answer the question by myself because it happend a thing in-game.

I could not start a Coalition against France because GB already had one. But when GB disbanded their Coalition I could make one by my own. So that was the answer for my question :)
